WBSC Premier12 Opening Round locations, groups to be revealed at press conference in Mexico City

The World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC), together with the Charros de Jalisco professional baseball club of the Mexican Pacific League (LMP), Mexico’s National Commission for Physical Culture and Sport CONADE, and the Government of Jalisco will hold a joint press conference in the capital of Mexico to reveal a series of announcements on this year’s II WBSC Premier12®, the major international baseball competition and Tokyo 2020 Olympic Qualifier, which will be staged from 2-17 November and feature the 12 best Men’s National Teams in the world rankings.
Major announcements will include:
- Unveiling of the three Opening Round hosts, dates and locations
- Revealing the National Teams in Groups A, B and C
- Unveiling the Official 2019 WBSC Premier12 Trophy
- New Sponsorship
The Super Round and Finals of the 2019 WBSC Premier12 will be hosted by Japan’s Nippon Professional Baseball (NPB) league and played at Chiba’s ZOZO Marine Stadium and the Tokyo Dome.
